If you gave permission to them, that will be a tough sell to your insurance company. If taken without permission, you are in better shape.
Your best bet may be to contact the prosecutor, explain the issues, and request (politely) that any resolution of the criminal charges INCLUDE... View More
Attacked while sitting in chair. Concussion and waiting on MRI results for shoulder tear. Police said they would file report with courts, now they want to question attacker prior to filing. Is that typical?

You should consult with a personal injury attorney as soon as possible if you have not done so already. Also you should discuss the criminal aspect with an attorney who would have experience in this as well to determine if you need to appear or speak with the victim's advocacy office. Feel... View More

So I like this girl but I shouldn't contact her. Would it be illegal to send out a chain text to say thousands of people saying only nice things about her and how I feel about her?

Is there a peace order or protective order against you? Is she a minor and you are not? These questions would affect the answer to this.
Would it still be illegal because both parents are perfectly ok with it
answered on May 17, 2017
Not only is it still illegal, its also wrong and immoral. Just because you "think" the parents all approve does not make anything right or legal. Parents may be able to give consent to minor's to marry but they cannot give consent to statutory rape. An 18 year old having sex with a... View More

Chances are he doesn't have money so you can sue him but it won't do you any good. As to the bills, if you are eligible for medical assistance try getting it--it is sometimes retroactive. You can file a complaint with the police.

Award For His arrest. Is It His Rights To Find Out Who Turned Him In & Got The Reward.
answered on Jan 4, 2017
It is not his right to know who collected the award. This would be against public policy and prevent good Samaritans from turning in criminals for fear of reprisals. What would your son do with this information? It would be better for him to build a new life and move on.

I find that remarkably unlikely but I suppose it's possible. I would need more details to offer a better answer. Feel free to contact me.

You have not given enough facts, such as what the charge is and what happened and why now you have changed your mind. Perhaps you should contact the prosecutor's office about this and see whether they will allow you to sign a document that says you do not wish to pursue charges.

Basically, you don't. You started the criminal investigation and once an arrest is made, it will be completely up to the prosecutor whether to proceed with the case.
