If you want to sue her, you will have to be able to prove that you were damaged (i.e.: lost money) by her conduct. Can you do that?

Call the police department were the forgery occurred. If that does not work, you can also contact the State attorney's office to try to get them to file charges. It might not be that strong a case since it was your wife though.
