Suing the U.S. government on the grounds of taxation without representation would face significant legal challenges. The Constitution allows Congress to impose taxes, and the age for voting, which grants representation, is set at 18 by the 26th Amendment. Minors, although taxed, are not considered... View More

Kansas, like in many other states, the law requires drivers to carry proof of insurance at all times while operating a motor vehicle. If you were issued a ticket for no proof of insurance and you did not have the required proof at the time of the traffic stop, it may be challenging to contest the... View More

Hard to answer without knowing exactly what ticket the officer issued you. My assumption is that you were issued a failure to exhibit licences summons. This ticket is payable and does not require a court appearance. Although if you hire an attorney, they'll maybe be able to reduce the fines on... View More

We immigrated to the USA and then my family got their citizenships after 5 years, but at that time I was under 18 and I wasn’t able to get mine, according to the lawyer who filed my parent’s citizenship application. That doesn't make any sense. You were likely included on your parents' application and are a citizen, but just mistaken. You should file a FOIA request to find out what's really going on, through a lawyer.
