Almost 2 weeks ago, I was horribly injured at work. Taken to a hospital by ambulance, bleeding. Stitched up. Did not hear from WC insurance for 4 days. Made my own appointment for a surgeon's visit. Had surgery scheduled. WC insurance cancelled the surgery at last moment. Now I am in... View More

I am sorry about your injuries. That is not fair, and you should be fully compensated. Tell me which major city your accident was NEAR, so I can tell you a good civil attorney to confer with. Was the other vehicle merely a citizen renting the van, or was it a business renting it?... View More

I recently got into a verbal argument with another motorist in front of my house. As we were arguing, the drive got out of the car and began hitting me. You can sue them, but if they have no money you won't get much out of them. Contact the victim assistance coordinator of the DA's office to see if they can have as part of their sentence restitution.

Q: Can I use a dog pen as an enclosure instead of a chain link fence as required in the rules.

This rule is so that they can extort money out of tenants and charge them or raise their rent. They do this every year when tenants get their energy assistance money. They try to take is from them. There are numerous trailers without the required fence and some use boards and and wood fencing.

If the dog isn't under control yes; if it was on a lead, you tightened up when child approached and the child thrust itself at the dog, no. But it's on you to control your dog at all times. And control means that--if it can bite anyone, it's you, not someone else.
