No. See O.C.G.A. section 16-11-62. While Georgia is a one-party state, requiring the consent of only one party to a telephone conversation to record that conversation, Georgia requires the consent of all parties to record a video chat (i.e. FaceTime) in a "private place and out of public... A Georgia attorney could answer your question best, but your post remains open for two weeks. Even if your intentions are noble in trying to protect the wellbeing of women and babies as prospective patients, the fact remains that there is a possibility you could be sued for defamation. Hi, I was reading your article on video recording laws in Georgia. I transported my brother's children to his house from school all last year, because his wife needed me to. It appears that your question was intended for one specific person, but we are not sure who. You may want to send it directly to that person, or consult with an attorney who can review your case in detail and present you with the options. -Homer P. Jordan IV, Esq. 404-620-1558

In terms of the discrepancies with belongings you describe, it might be helpful for an attorney to know more information - were these discrepancies in connection with... View More
Before I joined my company, they signed a multi-year service agreement with an Internet Service Provider that I think we should no longer use. Get a lawyer. You don’t want to be a convicted felon if at all possible. There’s more to it than just figuring out an agreeable sentence.

Visit. Sometimes block us from calling. But as the primary parent I’m told I should always keep communication open to him if he chose to talk to the kids. But how can that go both ways. Seems double standard. Would like if he kept constant communication with kids since they ask about their dad.

Harassing phone calls is a misdemeanor in Georgia for each call made.
He violated his tpo because he was caught with me. He only has a misdemeanor because I was willingly in his presence, I'm trying to get the tpo I put on him taken away because we have a baby together and there was no physical violence and we've reconciled. He would be violating the TPO and committing another felony. Stop trying to contact him. If you want the TPO dismissed, file a motion, but do not contact him while the order is in place.

The kinds of questions you posted, she actually doesn't have to answer. It's not great parenting, but she isn't obligated to tell you those things. As long as she actually does show up for the parenting time designated, then she isn't in contempt of the order.
She calls text and tries to contact us via linked in and even watches our home.

You can contact the police for harassing phone calls, and/or you can change your phone number.
