The guide models are based on real world objects, for example firearms. The guide model was not modified to create a new model. A new model was created from scratch, but while looking like the guide. The new model combined spheres, cubes, cylinders, and other primitive 3D shapes to look like the... View More

First, this would depend on if the original 3D model was copyrighted. Mostly likely it was, so we can assume that. Then it comes down to if this is copying, or more transformative. If you were basically just copying, and it sounds like you did, yes, that would be copyright infringement.
Getting raises even though people did get raises. This year I was told when I was hired I was hired at the top of my pay scale. I was never told this ever before. Legally can they do this? I know GA is a right to work state, but I should have been told this before I accepted the position. This... View More

There are no legal issues here. Employers set their own pay scales (unless this is a public employer), raises, and reviews. In fact, they do not even have to give reviews, have pay scales, or give raises.

As far as I know, there is not a way to do it. That is what the appeals process will sort out. They do not want to pay someone who if then is not qualified, as there is almost no chance they will get the money back.
I told my supervisor once i realized what i did and paid for it.

For it to be theft there has to be intent to steal. It would have been conversion though.

It sounds like you are asking about severance pay, and that is not required. IF you are asking about the penalties for violation of the WARN Act for only giving 30 days notice, that assumes the WARN Act applies. There are exceptions, and perhaps not all of the 190 employees count as some could be... View More
We don't have sex! I've tried looking into loop holes about this. In Washington legal consent is 16 (I'm from Oregon). So we could have sex there (we agreed not to until marrage). We also looked into going to Canada to get married then returning as a married couple. I am moving out at 17.

If there is no sex or sexual contact, and assuming he is not a registered sex offender, there should not be any problems. I would however question why you would want to date someone so much older. This just sounds like a bad situation waiting to happen.
I have had multiple sit downs with the principle that always lead to a student being "talked to". However the hands-off policy is never enforced to a point that things will change. What should i do or can i do to let them know that i'm serious about getting the changes that will make... View More

If it is the same child hitting yours, you might consider counseling for your daughter. That would establish emotional harm. Then sue the parents and the school for negligent supervision, see ORS § 30.765 as to liability on the parents. For the school, note a tort claim notice has to filed and... View More
We decided not to stay there because of this. Are they in breach of contract for denying us power that night? We have a text message from them saying "no power until you give us more money." They are denying us our deposit back.

Go find a local landlord/tenant attorney to discuss. This would relate to habitability, and there are strict rules and strong penalties for this type of thing.

No, that is what the will called for. I guess you could challenge the will, but these types of provisions are standard so that you mature enough before receiving a bunch of money.
The police gave me no in paper document showing to what was warned against me or for how long this is against me the last time I got one of these from the same person he contacted me again after seventeen or so days so I was curious if these things get lifted if not charged with it and how long... This person was going around Butte Montana breaking into storage units. His girl friend pawned some of my jewelry. He is now in jail for doing some of the same. Can I file a civil suite on both people?
answered on Mar 15, 2016
Yes, you can. Problem is collecting, as people in jail often do not have money to pay judgments from the court.
I was in a car accident last year and the other driver was at fault. We settled that portion of the case for 15k (as this was the max he had on his policy) In short, the medical bills, auto damage, etc. are much higher than 15k (his policy limit) so my attorney also filed via my policy using my... Completely unknown. Even if both parties have all of the information does not mean they can agree on an amount. Not to mention, your settlement with the at fault driver would have been with a different adjuster (perhaps at the same company as your insurance carrier). These UIM claims tend to take... View More

Usually the PIP is paid directly to the provider, so unlikely you would get it from USAA up front.
This NDA was given to me by a celebrity during my employment with this person
answered on Mar 15, 2016
An NDA is just a contract, so there are ways to get out of contracts, way too many to try and explain here. Best to find a local attorney who does contracts and go over the facts to see if you can get out of it.
24 hours they ended up laying me off is this right
answered on Mar 15, 2016
Find a local attorney and go over all of the facts with them. There is way too little detail in your question, and there are a lot of questions your attorney would need to ask.
answered on Mar 15, 2016
Almost always the answer would be no. Occasionally there are exceptions, so check your state' unemployment office's website to review.
They have hired 3rd party people to represent them at the hearing. I assume they are lawyers. Do I need a lawyer to represent me at this hearing? Also, I live in Alabama but my UI claim is going through the OK Employment Security Commission.

If they have attorneys, you will want your own. It would be like showing up to a race and they bring in a supped up sports car and you just bring your van. Maybe you win, but you are already at a disadvantage.

You are not required to do an exit interview from a legal standpoint. If by chance you had an employment contract that said you were required to do one, then you would have a breach of contract. The later is doubtful.

Yes, this is legal. The fact is, you already gave this information to your supplier, so you had no reasonable expectation of privacy. You might consider a contract with your suppliers though designating the info as confidential to protect you in the future.
I bought an item from them through Craigslist, but they didn’t send it to me. They just kept the item … and my money. Hire a private investigator to track them done and/or to run a background check that might have current info. The real issue though, is all of this worth it? Given how you describe these people, even if you get a judgment from the court, it does not sound like they are going to pay it.
