You can refuse the hair follicle test and lose your child. That is your constitutional right.

Q: My friend was on parole in louisiana , moved to texas for work, could not make it back to report to parole officer

due to financial reasons and a warrant was issued and he was arrested in texas and i believe may have gotten another charge which should be getting dismissed. is he eligible for bond? he needs to return to work to secure his job and his boss is willing to help bond him to return to work.

Since he absconded once, he probably won't be eligible for a bond, unless the judge just gives him a technical violation.

Q: I have custody (no court order) of my 7 yr old daughter. Her dad promised to take her to school but didn't.

Several times she is tardy or absent when he says he will take her to school. He talks about taking custody soon. Is there anything I can do?
