Without details about your school district's policy, as written in your employment contract, it is difficult to provide you with an accurate answer. It will be best to consult an attorney who can examine the facts of your case to determine your best course of action.

In an elementary school the parent pick up line starts to form more than 90 min before the students are released at the end of the day. The line is very long and the PTA has auctioned off the first two spots in the front of the line for the two parents (with the highest bid) to arrive anytime... View More

I don't hear anything illegal about what you have described. As long as the school's administration approves and there are no safety or traffic laws broken, the PTA can auction off those coveted spots. On the other hand, enforcement may prove interesting!

If a school gives you less than 30 minutes (as a student) for lunch period, is that illegal?
answered on Nov 8, 2019
Sad to say: Yes! States have given schools great discretion and latitude, and your school can make their own lunch time rules. There's nothing illegal about that.

I am starting college in January, but will be 17. The school is 45mins to an hour away so we are looking for my own place or a roommate who is 18+. Will my parents get introuble if they consent to it?
answered on Aug 21, 2019
Until you are 18, you have to live where your parents say. If that's on a college campus or near the college and they are saying you can live there then there shouldn't be any issues. -Homer P. Jordan IV, Esq. 404-620-1558 HomerJordan.com

Your daughter's case for battery will be in juvenile court where she likely only faces probation even if she is convicted. A more pressing outcome is that she will likely be suspended from school for 10 days and then expelled under the school's zero tolerance program. I would strongly... View More

Have you asked the school why they are withholding the transcripts? Start there to see what the problem is. Maybe he owes fines or needs to do something on that end before they release them. If they don't respond, try contacting the school district's main office to see if you can get... View More

This has more to do with the local school system than your court order. If the papers say you are the primary custodian, that is what they are going to go by. Notwithstanding this, if you lie and use his address, I think that if he were to modify it that this would give him some ammunition to say... View More

You would have to show they knew the other kid had lice. But yes, you could make a claim against them. However they may not be happy to have your youth in that daycare, so make alternate daycare plans. Contact a member of the Ga.Trial Lawyers Assn for your county--they give free consults.
I’m in high school and theirs a ongoing investigation to see if I stole something or not. I did not steal the items I’m accused of. You can file a law suit alleging slander. You will have to prove the teacher made an untrue statement and you suffered damages as a result. If you are in fact under investigation, that fact is true.
