Q: I have Aflac and was denied accident, hospital and critical illness claims after I have a miscarriage at 12 weeks.

was hospitalized( was admitted), and given an emergency blood transfusion. Was this not an accident? Is needing a stat blood transfusion critical? And I was admitted to the hospital but because I wasn't there 24 hours they denied that claim as well?

Q: If I get money and have to pay other people like for instance a chiropractor, would lawyer receive their 40% before?

For example say I get a settlement of $4,000 but have to pay a doctors $300. Would my lawyer take their 40% from the $4000 or $3700?

Typically attorney's fees will come out of the gross settlement figure before other deductions, but you should refer to the written fee agreement you probably signed when the case began.

Q: Are all personal injuries as a result of a defective product treated the same when there was a significant injury.

The product in question was examined by an expert and found to be faulty. The hospital bill was over $14,000. Time off work and lost wages total approximately $20,000.

There isn't a numbered limit in the Pennsylvania Rules, but some counties will limit the number of questions in their local rules. Philadelphia is one such county for example. Check the local rules of civil procedure in whatever county the case is filed. Best of luck.
