Yes, the ticket is still valid. It may go to credibility of the testifying officer but that omission, in itself, is not enough to make the ticket invalid.

I am not an Arkansas attorney but most states state which parts must be new & /or o.e.m. and which may be Grade 1 used. However if they approved the build/estimate then they should pay it.

You should notify your insurance carrier to determine i the accident was covered.

Q: I was in an accident and the officer gave me a criminal citation: failure to yield with injury. What is the punishment?

Fort smith PD issued the citation and said I need to appear at Fort Smith District Court.

Under the “offenses” box, the officer checked off “criminal” and not “traffic”.

Failure to yield with injury 27-51-601

Could I get jail time?

Generally they just fine you and order restitution. Your insurance company will pick up the claim but you must also file an sr 21 notice.

I don’t see why not. Seems like a good way to avoid an accident. Who is going to complain? Would have to check local ordinances but seems like it would be a best practice to avoid someone running into the truck.
