Start with the Ky Secretary of State and tack down all their business filings. THen go to IRS and/or Ky Revenue Cabinet to obtain all tax filings. That should set you on the right path to determining what happened with their business.

Q: Does a rental that is rented with 1 year expired tags void the contract?

I was hit in a rental with no tags now rental company is claiming damages that didn't exist when I had the vehicle.

There might possibly be but if they’re located in Singapore, be expensive and difficult to litigate. Additionally, it sounds like there are no damages so I probably wouldn’t pursue it.

Q: My husband has an accusation against him and has been locked out of things while an investigation is moving forward - t

The company refuses to disclose the accusations and said in 21 days they will disclose upon findings in the meantime he is prevented from working. Is that legal?

Q: I paid engineers 450k to build a utility water meter. It doesn't work as described. We need ownership of the firmware

Technically, there is probably some liability there but it very likely wouldn’t be worth the time, money or hassle to pursue it. If you can get reimbursed what you’ve lost ( or most of it), you’ll still be ahead of the game.
