In Arizona you have two years from the date of the negligent incident that caused your injury to file your lawsuit. You say you settled. You say there are fees. If the fees were for a lawyer, ask the lawyer what to do. If you are sued your insurance company needs to know and be involved. They will have a lawyer represent you.

Q: Drugs that should have not been mixed lead to my husbands death in the hospital. What kind of case do I have here?

Side affects from two drugs mixed that should have not been mixed cause him rectal bleeding and lead to his death while in the hospital.

This was discovered in review of his medical records I requested after his death. Not sure on what type of lawyers would handle a case like this.

A husband who drinks and drives puts his wife at risk of a lawsuit as well as himself. The existence of an insurance policy does not not lessen the wife's risk. You would want a witness there but should not get into any argument. If the other person says something just say "I disagree " if you disagree, don't go off on them.

2. Your claim is for your non-stress injuries. Contact a member of the Az Trial Lawyers Assn in the county where the wreck happened--they give free consults.

3. Be sure to follow up with doctors for your injuries. Stess over the injury isn't ususally something you can collect for.

Why not contact a member of the Az Trial Lawers who deals with assault and other harm cases and see what they say? If you can document all the contacts, saved them and /or downloaded them it's possible if they kept the guy on that they then bought into his conduct.
