You await a response for a week, but this isn't really an attorney referral service. It's only a Q & A Board. You could avoid losing further time by seeking out an attorney on your own. You could use the resources of this site, or you could conduct independent searches online. Good... View More

If you can prove that the other party knew they had the STD and failed to disclose, then you could have an action for assault and/or battery. If they intended to give you an STI, then I would talk to a criminal attorney about possibly filing a police report, however, Ohio statutes only seem to... View More

Claims and lawsuits for personal injury require medical documentation, so your records would be admitted to show your condition after the accident. The at-fault party/company/insurance company may try to use evidence contained in those records to their advantage, if there is information that would... View More

An Ohio attorney should advise here, but your question remains open for two weeks. In many jurisdictions, cases involving minors will be concluded with a hearing where the court formally memorializes terms of the settlement in an Infant Compromise Order (that's the New York terminology - every... It's not necessarily illegal, but he may be able to recover his damages in a civil suit/pre-suit negotiations. They may have been negligent leaving the grill unattended. It's work discussing with an attorney.

It's unlikely that an attorney here is going to tell you that becoming a plaintiff in this class action lawsuit is worth it or not worth it. That's going to be your decision to make. The terms make mention of a separate medical malpractice action. It sounds like this might be about a... View More

You could see if the Ohio State Bar Association lists any resources, or you could try to contact them (it could be difficult at the current time with the health crisis) if they could direct you to any entities that could be helpful. Good luck

When they wrote the POA, they put the wrong middle initial. Then he signed it, and used the wrong middle initial for the signature. Does that prove forgery?
answered on Apr 9, 2020
That's going to be weak evidence. Your best bet would be to retain a handwriting expert who can conduct an analysis of the two signatures to determine whether it is a forgery.

You are likely barred from bringing a claim against the supplier because you did not include them in the first lawsuit. Ohio litigants are required to sue all necessary parties to a suit. If they don't, then future cases can be barred. This is to encourage efficient litigation and discourage... View More

I'm sorry for the loss of your father. If you know nothing about the case, as in not knowing who the defendant was or who the attorney was, you could try the databases of the Ohio court system if you're fairly certain the case would have been litigated in Ohio. This is something an Ohio... View More

The store would not be liable if the carts were improperly stacked by customers and not the store employees. However, it may be liable if they neglected to correct the recurring problem with the cart corral, or if they knew there was a problem at this particular time and they ignored it. You need...
