The Original was also lost by the Seller, is the contract still enforceable, if we're having a dispute?

The buyer is the one that has to sign as the notemaker. The amendment is probably an agreed modification between the maker and the holder. It should be enforceable unless you have busted the SOL.

First, you can always attempt to negotiate a solution. You may consider offering a refund representing 11/24 of the relocation assistance amount with a deduction for the perceived age discrimination.
Second, it is impossible to tell you what legal options you may have under the relocation... View More

A Washington attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for four weeks. It could depend on the terms of the contract, and whether it contains restrictions on assignability. In terms of textbook law, what you describe is considered an assignment of a contract. You want someone else... View More
I received a termination email saying I executed confidentiality and invention assignment agreement from amazon.
What does this even mean? All I do is work and come home so I'm not this makes sense to me

Termination Email sounds like termination from employment from Amazon. If you work or worked for Amazon then their terms of employment likely required you to retain in confidence and to assign any inventions you created to Amazon.

Generally speaking, yes they can. You may want to consider reaching out to an employment law attorney in your state for a consultation.

Looks like you have to open an estate. If the decedent died because of his injuries there is a claim and you would want to speak with a member of the State of Washington Assn for Justice in the county where it happened--they give free consults.

You might have grounds for suing your step mother for breach of contract. It sounds like there was an agreement and it was supported by consideration. The fact that there are witnesses to her promise is very helpful. Seek out a contract litigation attorney in your area.

You are wasting your breath asking the dealer if the used car complies with Washington laws because the dealer is in a different state. Try asking the authorities in Washington.
