Hopefully you made sure the other person was included as a creditor in the bankruptcy and you are thus protected. Report his claim to that attorney.

The statute of limitations for minors wishing to pursue a cause of action generally begins at age 18. However, a claim could be brought sooner through a parent or guardian. You should first, however, speak to an attorney to determine if you have an actionable claim.

Q: How do I know if a Settlement Agreement is a legitimate?

The first two pages is the cover sheet with no numbers on it and the other two pages is the settlement agreement with page number 3/4 and 4/4 could I be missing some pages?

If you have a lawyer you need to talk to them.

As to the agreement 3/4 and 4/4 indicates that with the cover sheet included there were 4 pages total. You could be missing a page.

Speak to an attorney as soon as possible. You, on behalf of your son, may have a claim, as well as grandma, against the driver. You need to keep a diary of what happened and the injuries sustained. Sorry you are going through this.

We need more information on how the injury occurred. If there is no workers’ compensation insurance, then the company could be on the hook.

If you have yet to sign a release, you could potentially still litigate the matter or renegotiate a better deal. Really depends on where you are in the process and what you did in small claims court.

If it wasn't on your property and you did not keep it on your property you are not responsible. Don't feed strays. Feed your dog on your property.Keep other dogs out.

However tell your homeowners and be guided by what they say.
