This does not violate any laws. As long as they are paying minimum wage there is no problem, unless the discrepancy was related to something such as race, religion, etc. As in you cannot pay all the white employees more.

If you lie about the convictions and they find out you will be fired and potentially worse. The best option is to disclose and let them know you have grown. It is usually the lying about prior convictions that gets people into trouble, not the actual conviction.

I do not do public education law by any means, but you have a situation where they possibly could rightful ban him from the school due to the threats he made. People can be trespassed from public places, TriMet does it all the time.
However, we believe that the original owners may have lied about the siding, hence the seller we purchased from did not know. Do we have legal right to sue the original owners, since we are suffering a monetary loss because of their lie, even though they didn't directly lie to us?
