You may very well have a legitimate claim against the sheriff deputies and may be able to recover any compensable damages you sustained as a result of their actions (e.g. lost wages for time spent in jail, attorney fees to secure your release, etc.).

They probably intend to refurbish the complex, or tear it down and build new buildings, when all of the existing leases expire.

Provide your son with sufficient funds so he can fire his court-appointed attorney and hire a better attorney. It is unwise to scrimp when you are charged with a federal crime. Hire the best attorney and you are much more likely to get the best outcome.
