You need to hire a lawyer, open probate, get appointed and then open your own investigation into his death. This could be time consuming and costly, however, with guarantee as to any results.

The dealership replaced solenoid on my car in January it is having to be replaced again only 7 months later. Is there a lemon law for vehicle repair? If so is the dealership responsible for the repair/labor cost this time? Thank you

They should replace the part with no cost. Whether the labor is included varies from place to place.

Q: Can a business legally check your credit without a social and without consent?

The company only asked for the name and birthdate of the “homeowner” saying they only needed that information to verify they actually own the home. Then a credit check notice was received. How is that even possible? Thank you in advance for any help in the matter.

No. They cannot run your credit without your express permission.
