Probably not but the best course is to call her directly, tell her you are not sick and reschedule the sink t repair. Litigation not necessary in this instance.

Q: If you sign an admission to a hospital for someone using Power of Attorney, do you become personally liable for billing

I am providing POA for one of my children. I am concerned that if I am unable to sign myself into the hospital during an emergency and they sign me in as my POA and I die, will they be liable for any of my expenses instead of my estate

No. You will remain the liable party regardless if you signor they dign as POA

Q: Want to sue someone for signing a contract and not fulfilling their end

I had put down a deposit for a boat event happening on July 22, 2023 and I can't get in contact with the people that run the boat. I signed a contract with them and they also signed it as well. It doesn't look like they will keep up their end of the deal So what do I do?

You’ll need to wait until after July 22 to confirm that they are not honoring the contract. After that, you can sue them for breach and your damages.

Can the buyer insist on renegotiating the sale price when the discrepancy is discovered upon inspection while preparing for closing? Is this considered deceptive advertising?

Depends. If it is only known to the buyer, that would imply the seller does not know about the error, which might be difficult to prove fraud. Get estimates for repair of the three items he complained of and refund only that part. Beyond that, you don’t need to do anything else and you do not have to accept the return or refund the rest of the money.

Technically, there is probably some liability there but it very likely wouldn’t be worth the time, money or hassle to pursue it. If you can get reimbursed what you’ve lost ( or most of it), you’ll still be ahead of the game.
