Q: How far does my constitutional "right to travel" go?

I got a ticket for my inspection stickers expiring a month prior. That officer said I didn't have to pay any money. There is also no dollar amount written on the original citation so I took it as a warning like the cop said, I have 30 days to get it inspected. Last week I got a letter... View More

It does not violate your constitutional right to travel. You can still travel but if you choose to do it in a motorvehicle you must follow lawful regulations. There is no constitutional right to drive.

that not every case of retaliation can be...

Unfortunately, they probably owe nothing more than apology. If things were broken, or people injured during the execution of the warrant, you could have a possible lawsuit.

You do have the right to appeal the Judge's decision to the Superior Court: you have 30 days from the date of the Order to file a Notice of Appeal. I would encourage you to consult with an attorney about this.

The Appeal will be based on the particular facts of your case: it is about...

You don't have a claim against the judge or DA, because they have what is called "immunity." However you can call the Pa. Civil Liberties Union and ask for the names of some of their "cooperating attorneys " to see what they think.

There are not any motions to put in, but it's possible you could challenge the chain of custody at trial.

Q: I signed in at my doctor's office with a kiosk machine. Kiosk asked me if my fingerprints were on file. Is this legal

Do they have the right to ask for your fingerprints to be on file as a patient? Especially since they had their systems whacked and patient info was stolen before. It is not for a job..just a medical visit.

Q: My mother, who lives in Pennsylvania, was supposed to recieve 89,000.00 for a class action mesh lawsuit.

When she received the settlement (on a Mastercard! Not a check!) she only received 25,000.00. The attorney's fees totaled $64,000.00. How can fees be over 70%? Is this legal? She never signed an agreement.
