If he doesn't know how to plead, he should probably plead not guilty. It is generally not wise to plead guilty at the arraignment. If he is not happy with his public defender, he should seek private counsel.
A friend and I had a verbal agreement to store our belongings in a colleague's storage shed and extra bedroom. On 9/06/2016 we were informed the colleague would be vacating the premises, giving us until the end of September to retrieve our belongings. We made arrangements to be there the last... View More

Contact the appropriate police agency and file a report. It is up to the prosecutor to file charges, but those facts would indicate criminal conduct.
I understand simple assault between adults. But not a child and adult.

It is up to the prosecutor which charges to file. A prosecutor will look at the facts, the elements of a particular offense, and determine whether he has enough evidence to prove the defendant guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. If not, then he will not file charges.

In many states, a severance package is not required. As such, a company may have no obligation to pay out a severance package even if it is the right thing to do. Consult with a Wyoming employment attorney to find out your rights. Good luck.

It depends upon whether the case was an appeal which will be listed in the law books. Was it an appeal? If so, it was probably put into one of the reporters and is searchable. There are ways to find whether the case has ever been cited. Get to a law library.

Yes, that can happen. If it does, the child will become just another missing child and the parents will worry incessantly. In addition, the 18 year old can probably be charged with some very serious crimes, the least of which would probably be contributing.

Probably to a judicial qualifications commission of some sort.

Your freedom is a serious matter, and the case against you appears to be very serious. Get counsel immediately. The attorney you hire will investigate the facts and circumstances and will represent you diligently and accordingly.

Speak with your attorney about this. If you do not have one, get one. Perhaps the court will allow a continuance so that the witness can be located and served.
All website list the legal age of consent for sex at 16 and 17 years of age. The Wyoming sexual abuse laws concur with this. However WY Stat § 6-4-303 seems to infer that it is actually 18 in (b) (ii)???

"Child" means a person under the age of eighteen (18) years. That is in (a) (i) from the 2011 statutes. But a simple internet search reveals, on google, this:The age of consent for sex is 16 years old for women, while it is 18 years old for men. Having sex with a minor below the age of... View More

The worst? Sorry, but you are asking me to imagine all sorts of grisly possibilities, which I won't do. In general, collection agencies annoy you with repeated phone calls, and sometimes find a collection attorney to sue you on a contingent-fee basis. To my knowledge they seldom bother with...
