If law enforcement obtains a warrant based on suspicion and belief and enters your home but does not find anything illegal, they typically cannot arrest you solely on that suspicion. Warrants allow them to search your property for evidence of a crime, but if no evidence is found, their authority to... View More

There is nothing which prohibits police from properly processing auto theft charges now. Given that they know who stole it by name, why would they need to question anyone or to see the surveillance video? It doesn't look like the thief who wrecked your car is likely to be able to avoid the... View More

A Louisiana attorney could advise best, but your question remains open for two weeks. Nationwide, such activity could trigger regulations in terms of fire & safety codes and environmental codes for unlawful discharges on waterways. Check with a local attorney firsthand to avoid problems. Good luck
My daughter got in a wreck and said she doesn't remember seeing headlights coming. Because of this concrete sign. Everyone complains about it. She got a ticket but the sign is obstructing her view.

More information is needed before one can render an assessment of whether or not the concrete subdivision sign was improperly placed and whether or not it was a legal cause of the collision. If you posted this because of a traffic ticket issued to your daughter, then you might want to take photos... View More
