I recommend promptly speaking with an attorney in the state where the CT scan occurred. To answer your question, a lawsuit will need to be filed where you will need to demonstrate that the medical personnel were negligent, specifically by failing to conform to the appropriate standard of care in... Sure does sound like the kind of fraud that you can make a claim for. If the purchase agreement specified it was an "AS IS" sale, that would be a defense - but that defense could fail in some limited circumstances of there being certain clear, provable representations made by the seller... I hired someone for my business to play Santa and pictures were taken. Due to unprofessional issues on their part, we couldn’t rehire this year. Could we still use pictures we took with him in advertisements this year? Or can we get in trouble legally?

Whoever took the pictures owns the copyright in the pictures, unless they assigned the pictures copyright to you....

Q: My parent gifted me 4 fake Lego sets and pretended it was the real thing, do they have to reimburse me in any way?

If they bought the real sets, they would have spent about 50 dollars more than the fake sets, around 560 dollars. Now the combined value of the real sets would be around 2600 dollars.

If you purchased the car new, yes you probably have a case.

If you purchased the car used, it is unlikely you have a case against the dealership but you may have a case against any mechanic you hired to perform a pre-purchase inspection.
