Q: a game store owner lets his dogs run around off leash, but I have a service dog and this interferes with her work? Help?

It’s a board game shop and they run Dungeons and dragons groups and other game groups. I want to go but I can’t because of the dogs. What do I do

Its likely a private establishment and the owner can allow the dogs to be there. You can’t force the owner to keep his dogs home or tied up in his own shop but you can ask him or her.

They are definitely not legal in Connecticut to own as pets. The DEP has made sure to include this reptile in the language of their code. Under the new regs, animals are listed in four categories. Category one requires the owner to have a permit. Categories 2,3, and 4 are just not legal.... View More

If the owner/ or last tenant has vacated and taken all of their things and given notice of their leaving, you should be ok to move forward with renting the unit. However, you would be well advised to contact a landlord/ tenant attorney for further elucidation and information. Please feel free to... View More

There should be no problem with them coming in to grab a quick snack if that is where the snack bar is. The club member is being a cantankerous old creep as some people can be. You don't want to take the approach of ignoring this. It is really something for a Connecticut attorney to advise you on; but it is also something on which you should take some form of action without further delay. If you missed a court date, that could possibly result in a default judgment... View More

Code to what? You should probably schedule a consult to go over the details. If your dad owned real property in his name probate is required. If he had any property in his name probate is probably required.
