At the age of 18, you can leave. However, you must also support yourself.

North Dakota does not require that parties split assets equally. Instead, assets are split 'equitably'.

Yes, this is copyright infringement. If you do not have permission from the owner of those images to post them on your own website, you would be liable for copyright infringement. Attributing credit to the authors of those images does not absolve you of liability for copyright infringement.... View More

Q: I'm 16 and pregnate, the father is 18 how do we keep him from getting in trouble so he can support us?

Under 2 years apart in age, my parents kicked me out and disowned me. Won't sign for us to get married. Would not listing him as father protect him? I also heard that I could get a court to declare me independent then I could marry him? We live in North Dakota. Need an answer quickly please.

If you were older than fifteen at the time the child was conceived and the other party is within three years of your age and the act was consensual, no law has been broken.

Q: I had some financial trouble and wan unable to pay rent. I was given a notice of intent to evict if I did not pay.

I was unable to pay so I left within the 3 day window the notice gave, can I be held liable for the remainder of my lease?

It is unclear whether you plan a return to North Dakota and which state jurisdiction would belong to. Q: I did not respond to an affidavit therefore the judge ruled in favor of the plaintiff, what do I do next?

The court date was for temporary until the initial court date. I am the defendant in the case and doing this pro-se and the plaintiff has an attorney. There are also dual protection orders. The plaintiff has broken his and there is a seperate case for that.

He cannot simply take your child. The child custody arrangement is up to the court. Usually, the court prefers to provide each child with parenting time.
