Child's mother filed for custody in Carter County, she lives in Boyd County and so do children.

In November a city worker came and said that my home has been condemned for lack of utilities. He nailed my doors shut with my dog inside. I was cited for trespassing. I own the home outright.

Q: Can a landlord in KY require a tenant to use a certain company for trash, internet, etc.?

Our new landlord is demanding that all tenants use a certain trash company by 5/1/2024. I do not believe that a landlord can force a tenant to use a company for services, unless the landlord will be paying for the said service that is being forced upon the tenant.

No. She has to voluntarily file her papers or you will have to have her served. Service upon her starts the 20 days running

Q: If I abscond until after my probation end date is up can they still revoke me on probation?

For instance I'm on probation until June 2026 . If I was to leave state until after that date and come back ...will my probation automatically end bc that date has passed or can they still revoke me on probation?

Only once. You need to make a motion for permission to sell the property unless you were granted that specific authority in the will, in which case you do not need the Court's permission.

His dad is no good has never even met him. I have full custody. If I get state assistance can his dad locate him and come at me for custody? He's not on the birth certificate and as far as I know he doesn't even know what he looks like
