Hello and thank you for using Justia. You can file a claim if you have proof that no cancellation fees would be charged. However it would be much more económical to contact your credit card company and deny the charges.

My father still owes money to the bank in regards to four more payment but it is under my uncles name. You can still claim ownership but you should speed up since property taxes will accrue and you don´t want someone to occupy it since after a number of years they could later begin a process to transfer the title to their names.

You can do it from the USA but, just in case, you will need an attorney based in Puerto Rico. On the other hand, unless your mother left a will, any real estate assets left will be jointly split among her children, with a small portion going to your father, if they were still married.

Hello and thank you for using JUSTIA. A felony warrent can be executed in Puerto Rico if Michigan files a request thus in theory yes you can be extradited. Your best bet is to hire an Attorney in Michigan and have the case cleared up. You may be able to set up a payment plan and avoid extradiction.

Q: Uncle is trustee of family land. Dad passed, trustee didnt pass to his children. How can I get added to my family trust?

Uncle is real estate agent and has created a trust to place all siblings portions of the land into. However as my father has passed no action was taken by the trustee to include his children. He was not married and died in Puerto Rico. I sense my inheritence is being robbed by my dads siblings.
