Q: What do you do if you know someone is Inocent of rape and the rape test was negative and they are incarcerated

My children farther was accused of rape and he is incarcerated and the rape test is negative and I’m trying to see what we can do to help get him out of prison. He has wrote to the Inocent project several times. But we haven’t heard anything yet.

In Missouri, the age of majority is 18. If a 17-year-old leaves home without parental consent or a legal emancipation, she may be considered a runaway and her parents could potentially file a missing persons report. Law enforcement could then be authorized to return her to her home.

Q: Shouldn't I be released from jail ?

If my lawyer visits me and says ive been offered a plea deal and I decline because I'm innocent and the next day new evidence has been given proving I'm innocent of that crime they just tried to give me a plea deal on. Shouldn't I be released.

Q: Say i'm being charged with five different charges and I'm in Jail. While in jail some of those charges are dropped.

My lawyer visits me in jail and tells me I've been offered a plea deal and I have to decide within 24 hours . I decline the deal because I'm innocent. After refusing the plea deal new evidence is found proving someone else to be guilty . Shouldn't I be released from jail .
