Q: State Farm offered me $5k for my auto accident. I have $1k in medical bills. Can I get more if I take them to trail?

Saturday will make two years (statue limitations) . My 70 year old mom was in the car and have no medical bills because she had no transportation. They offered her $2k. Can she get more if she goes to trail?

Best way is to go down to the township municipal court where you got the ticket from, ask them for a copy and update them with your new address. If its a serious ticket with points hire a good lawyer.

Q: What recourse do I have against the police department not citing a person who ran a red light and collided with us?

Persistence sometimes works. You may be able to research the driver by license plate number. If you have uninsured coverage you can let them handle that issue, as they will seek to recover what they paid from the driver at fault.
