My 10 year old son waa riding his bike on the sidewalk and accidentally bumped into a woman. The woman fell and scraped her elbow. My son got scared and left his bike and ran home. In theory you can be sued. Anyone can sue anyone. If you are, send it to your insurance company. If you have no insurance, you will likely not be sued.

He needs to get a lawyer immediately because what you described is child pornography which would require him to register as a sex offender.

Assuming that your grandparents have custody of you through a legal proceeding, to become emancipated (which will allow you to make your own decisions) you will have to file a petition for emancipation in the same custody case. There is no guarantee that it will work but I suggest that you contact... View More

To partially answer your question about the problem with your guardian, until you are age 18 it is likely the judge will keep your guardianship in place. However the guardianship judge has the power to change the guardian to another person, if the current guardian is not doing his or her job... View More

Likely not much. Since your rights have been terminated, you are no longer an interested party in the adoption proceeding. Am attorney would need a lot more information to evaluate whether anything can be done at this point. I can assure you that without extremely competent local counsel, you will... View More
we plan to change our hair and names and head for clarksville . we don’t plan to return . what would be the consequences if found ?

It depends on the facts of the case and alternative service methods are sometimes allowed. The focus is generally on trying to give the parent actual notice of the case pending and if not that, at least constructive notice that an action has been filed.
Can I get this over with? Or do charges get dropped when moved to different state?
answered on Jul 8, 2020
You need to complete the charge problem until it is dismissed or diverted. A conviction will hurt you forever. Talk to your lawyer or hire one that is competent. You will probably be drug tested.

The investigator has threatened to take the case to the District Attorney if you do not bring your son in. It is quite likely that if you do bring your son in for an interview, the investigator will still take the case to the DA, only your son will have made the DA's case a lot easier. The... View More

First question, with cash, preferably obtained from his mother. Second question, no, but HE can fight it, and if you are a parent with custody , you have to be there to do so.

The receiver saved the pictures without consent and then sent them to other people without my consent. Is the sender more at fault or the receiver?
answered on Jul 5, 2020
No one needs your permission to save the photos you send to them, what would make you think that they do? No one needs your permission to remember what you say to them, or to repeat it to someone else. What you put out on the internet or over texting on the phone is the same thing, and IT LASTS... You are a child and won't be able to freely decide (or at least as freely as any one in society can) the course of your life until you are 18 or emancipated. So assuming you want to limit your current options to your legal options (which is what someone with a family of their own ought to... View More
