Q: My Landlord filed bankruptcy in Iowa . The sheriff is holding an auction. I would like to know how much time I have?

I was purchasing the home from my landlord on contract I’m fine with losing that money it’s not worth it especially since he’s filing bankruptcy. The auction is coming up soon. I would like to know how much time I have (if any) after the auction?

Q: Can receiving unemployment benefit affect my permanent residency status now or in future when applying for citizenship?

I am a Lawful Permanent Resident and have been recently laid off due to lack of work. My question is whether receiving unemployment benefit will be a ground for termination of my Green Card or deportation or preventing me from becoming a U.S. citizen in future?

Q: charged with a felony but the day before i plead guilty, the law changed reducing the amount to an aggravated misdeamer.

I was charged with theft 2nd, a class D felony in December 2018. I plead guilty on July 2nd, 2019. You didn’t actually ask a question, but I am assuming that you are questioning the validity of his will. It does sound like you have some facts that might call the will into question. You should schedule a personal consultation with a probate attorney in the vicinity of where your dad had lived.

You can ask for anything that you wish; however, receiving medical treatment in an emergency room does not entitle you to an attorney (as with the situation in which one is charged with a crime and is being held in police custody).

Q: Is it illegal for an adult to discuss sexual topics with a minor. (Not about doing things. Just the topic its self)

Like say an adult were to discuss a kink for example with a 17 year old. Just a simple topic or discussion. There is no hint of actually wanting to preform such acts one said 17 year old.

IMO you should forget trying to find out if you can "discuss sexual topics with a minor." Why? Because you are treading into a very dangerous area where most intelligent adults on this side of prison bars do not intentionally go.

On the warrant it says that they are looking for items listed below but there is nothing listed on there at all so the came looking for stolen things but have no idea what was stolen or if anything was in fact stolen but took things that were mine from my house

Sounds a little suspicious. Typically a Judge would authorize police to conduct searches in relation to specific crimes or incidents.
