When a case settles or is dimissed, the costs (filing fees, etc.) are taxed to one of the parties to pay. Q: Can I sue the lighter company if a torch lighter caught my upper body on fire causing 3rd degree burns and in hospital?

I attempted to light a cigarette to smoke and the lighter presented a huge flame that caught my hair and face on fire. Was medavac to Washington Hospital Center. Still there going into the second week.

It is a horrible experience.

I’m not the only one this is happened to according to the reviews I imagine it was just poor quality material as I have pictures of everything. The bolt heads were sheared off. Minimal damage done to truck and nobody hurt, but money had to be paid for a rental and other expenditures.
