Q: Can I find a pro bono attorney to sue someone for animal cruelty

My friend whom I bought my house with was beating my dog and caught on camera by all neighbors and he was charged criminally, I’ve since had to surrender my dog and lost my job of 27 years over this.

You may want to start by contacting Animal Law attorneys. It is unlikely you will find an attorney willing to take your case for free or even on a contingency basis.

The police officer could issue a citation tab charging a petty speed, after issuing a "warning." But I've never seen that happen, so it must be rare.

Q: Do I have a case against hertz rental if they denied me the opportunity to respond to or just be notified what was said?

The employer has no obligation to conduct an investigation. A defamation lawsuit would be against the individuals who made the statement, not Hertz. Feel free to consult with an employment attorney.

I apologize, I don't know what notice you were entitled to without reaching the law and knowing exactly what happened. Why didn't you receive notice from your friend who was letting you park there? Why was it deemed abandoned?

It would really depend on the specifics. It may not be identy theft, but it could be fraud concerning others. If the person is using your address to gain advantages or benefits, both of you could be held accountable.

Under most power of attorney instruments, yes... but the attorney in fact must act in the Principal's interest. If not, then Principal should revoke the POA and sue the Agent for breach of fiduciary duty.

A little more information would be helpful. What was the citation for? A citation will provide you some direction itself. Are you still in the country? Arrangements for remote appearance or attorney only appearance may be possible.
