Q: Can I sue for being injured by someone and/or on someone’s property?

I was assaulted at a private residence resulting in permanent brain damage. Can I sue the person who did it? Or the homeowners of where it happened at?

Yes, you can sue the person who did it. You may be able to sue the homeowners if you can prove that they had actual knowledge of the person's violent propensities, invited you to their premises, and failed to warn you about the attacker.

No. You yourself (or someone else) can be the registered agent as long as you maintain a physical address as your company's registered office where you can be personally found for purposes of physically serving you with important legal papers.

You should of went to the AG office when you moved back in the house. If you already paid the child support your case is moot. If you owe arrearage go to the AG and request a hearing to confirm the arrearage

Generally speaking, statements made during the course of judicial or administrative proceedings are subject to the affirmative defense of absolute privilege in any subsequent defamation proceeding. That means such statements cannot provide an avenue for a claim for damages.

The SOL should be Three years on this charge. There are many side issues with being charged, and being incarcerated, which may extend the time for the state. See Crim. Proc. Code arts. 12.01, 12.02 (2024).

You can get a jail credit toward fines of at least $150 per day of time that you serve in jail.

Yes, if the vet tech sues you, you can name the clinic as a responsible third party. The trier of fact would then have to decide the proportionate degree of fault for the vet tech's between you and the clinic.
