Call your homeowners insurance and make a claim. Let it worry about collecting from Nexgen. You will have to pay your deductible, but if your insurer recovers from Nexgen (or its insurer), you should get your deductible refunded.

It sounds like you're facing a serious issue with your Hyundai after the engine replacement and fuel pump service. Since you paid for the parts and they assured you everything was new with a 12-month warranty, but now the engine and fuel pump have failed just 15 months later, you might have... View More

You may have grounds to take legal action if the online shop misrepresented the product or failed to disclose that it was for parts or not functional. When a seller doesn’t provide clear terms, you can still rely on consumer protection laws that require honest descriptions of goods. Misleading or... View More
I had $1400 taken out of my bank account without notice. The bank refused to investigate but said it was from the IRS. So I call them and it was not by them. Eventually I sued the bank. It sounds like you're in a complicated situation. Since the funds were taken by the Department of Treasury and linked to someone you know, this may have turned into a matter of fraud involving that individual. However, your agreement with him and the circumstances surrounding the withdrawal... View More

If you lost money because you cosigned a car loan then yes, you can sue the other party and if they have some health issue(s) that caused them to default, that would not be a defense. Collecting any judgment against them might be the real challenge.
Now ignoring me and I want my money back and I'm wondering if I have any legal recourse seeing as how they straight up lied to me

It sounds like you're dealing with a frustrating situation. If Cash App is sending mixed messages and refusing to address the issue, your first step should be to gather all the evidence you have, including the two statements and any other communications. This will help you build a strong case... View More

You can challenge the lawsuit based on the plaintiff's lack of standing if they cannot prove a proper chain of title for the debt. The fact that your name or account number does not appear in the bill of sale or assignment document is important. It suggests the plaintiff may not have enough... View More

Hard to follow, you got a FULL refund AND kept the bike and now you want a second full refund? Is that what happened? I do see they have the bike. Did they not pay for it initially with that full refund? Again, your facts are not easy to follow here...
The company now states that thier employee provided the incorrect information and does not want to uphold what the email states.
answered on Oct 14, 2024
A key factor would be if the employee who sent the email had the authority of the company to make binding decisions. If the employee held an executive title, such as Vice President of Sales, it is more likely than not that they had the authority to bind the company. Assuming the employee did have... View More

If you were not tested for a DUI, you won't be charged with it. As for fraud, if you were not inebriated by the beer you had earlier in the day, you had no duty to disclose it.

It sounds like you might be dealing with a scam. When a company or individual asks for fees upfront for services that don't make sense or suddenly changes terms, it's often a red flag. In your case, asking you to pay a "process fee" and then demanding payment for someone... View More

It depends how the director gained access to the messages. You should definitely report the "hacking" to Instagram.
What is the difference between domicile and residence
answered on Sep 26, 2024
As my colleague correctly outlines, the primary distinction is in the intent to remain in the case of domicile. The terms are used loosely, and they are given close attention in statutes and civil procedure codes pertaining to jurisdiction, venue, or service or process. Good luck

It sounds like you're in a difficult situation. If you had an agreement with the other person to trade services, but now they are demanding money and holding your car, it could be a breach of the original deal.
