You should probably stop working until you have a valid EAD.

A pending DACA renewal does not automatically extend your employment authorization. Once your DACA EAD expires, you are generally no longer authorized to work until USCIS approves the renewal and issues a new valid EAD.

Yes, you can generally keep working, the RFE by itself doesn't pause your 90-day work authorization.
The 90-day rule comes from presenting your receipt notice (Form I-9 purposes) for a replacement EAD due to loss, and it runs from the receipt date regardless of whether USCIS later... View More

The receipt rule for a lost, stolen, or damaged EAD is different from an automatic EAD extension. A receipt showing that you applied to replace a lost, stolen, or damaged employment authorization document may generally be accepted temporarily for Form I-9 purposes.
