From your question it sounds like this is for storage of an RV, that you are not living in. Difficult to say- what does your lease/rental agreement say about notices? Usually a significant change requires 30 day notice, the rental agreement can state whether you agreed to electronic notice vs. paper notice. If it does, then the email is ok.
